The scope of research in the Sensor Networks Laboratory includes data acquisition, signal processing and AI applications. Our efforts are oriented towards the acquisition and processing of physiological signals in biomedical and ergonomic applications. We develop resources, methods, models and technological prototypes aiming at improving the quality of live in smart home and work environment. Particular interest includes human emotion recognition, stress detection, cognitive load assessment and other related functionality that supports the development of human friendly environments.
Our slogan is "Read the past, Record the present, Sense the Future".
